CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: 1/10/25

This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs subscription cancellations and refund eligibility for GPT-Shield products and services. This policy is incorporated by reference into GPT-Shield’s Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Cancellations can be initiated through the customer billing portal or as otherwise instructed at the time of purchase
Upon cancellation, access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period
No future charges will occur after cancellation

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund, except as expressly stated below.

2. Refund Eligibility

a. Standard Refund Window

Refunds are available within 14 days of the initial purchase date, provided that:

The request is submitted within the refund window
The Software has not been materially misused or abused

b. After the Refund Window

After the refund window has expired:

Fees are non-refundable
No prorated refunds are provided for unused time or canceled subscriptions

c. Enterprise Agreements

Refund and cancellation terms for enterprise customers may be governed by a separate written agreement. In the event of a conflict, the enterprise agreement controls.

3. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
Refund processing times depend on the payment provider and financial institution
GPT-Shield does not control third-party processing delays

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided for:

Failure to read or understand product functionality
User error, misconfiguration, or reliance on the Software for guaranteed outcomes
Violations of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
Account suspension or termination due to misuse or fraud

5. Legal Exceptions

Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Where required by law, refunds will be provided notwithstanding this policy.
